Aesthetic Dental Treatments

Dentistry or aesthetic dentistry is the area of dentistry that works to restore dental aesthetics. In short, the resources available to improve the aesthetics of the smile include tooth whitening, dental crowns, resin or porcelain restorations, gum surgery (gingivectomy), and the application of modern dental contact lenses.

A more beautiful, white and harmonious smile is possible thanks to dental contact lenses and other aesthetic resources

Or even after wearing braces, when you want to improve some aspects of your smile, because during treatment you can’t change the aesthetics of your teeth. Modern dental contact lenses are ultra-thin porcelain veneers, suitable for correcting aesthetic problems with the teeth, for example:

Dental contact lenses are bonded to the surface of one or more defective teeth in a safe and non-invasive way. Because the lenses are ultra-thin, installation requires little or no wear on the teeth before they can be bonded.

Naturalness of dental contact lenses

The lenses are made from porcelain, the best bio-safe material used to make dental prostheses, which is similar to natural teeth in terms of its texture and shade, as well as its translucency.

This way, if the dental contact lens is applied to just one defective tooth, it won’t contrast with the neighboring natural teeth. It is certainly an aesthetic procedure that has come to completely change your smile for the better. At ImplArt, the lenses are designed and made by better computerized systems and 3D printers.

In conclusion, the last stage of the procedure is the preparation of the tooth, the application of dental cement and the bonding of the dental contact lens. Dental contact lenses are very durable, as long as the patient takes care not to bite down on hard objects and makes regular visits to the dental practice. Alternatively, veneers can be made from resin with a lower finish.

Porcelain dental crowns for aesthetic purposes

Dental crowns and porcelain blocks can be made in cases of tooth damage such as broken teeth. It is very common for patients with bruxism to need cosmetic treatments as they can lose part of their enamel or even entire teeth due to the force applied to their teeth.

Aesthetic techniques aim to improve the appearance of gummy smiles

Plastic surgery on the gums can improve your dental aesthetics. Improving the appearance should be done in the context of a new dental treatment as it alters the frame of the smile. Gum peeling to remove stains, gum grafting surgeries, and gummy smile surgeries are among the options.

Aesthetic restorations

An aesthetic composite resin restoration is a dental aesthetic procedure in which a resin composite material is used to repair or rebuild the structure of an aesthetically compromised tooth.

This technique is often used to correct cavities, fractures or discolorations in order to restore the shape, function and natural appearance of teeth.

During the process, the dentist removes the damaged part of the tooth, prepares the affected area and applies layers of composite resin, carefully shaping them to ensure a perfect fit with the dental anatomy.

The resin is then hardened with special ultraviolet light.

The advantage of composite resin lies in its ability to mimic the color and texture of adjacent teeth, providing an aesthetic and long-lasting end result while preserving the structural integrity of the restored tooth.

Complete dental implants improve chewing, self-esteem and aesthetics

A complete dental implant is a fixed dental prosthesis on implants that makes up for the absence of all the teeth and improves chewing, speech and the look of the smile. It is called a protocol prosthesis and aims to re-establish the patient’s chewing function by inserting a dental implant in the upper or lower arch.

There are currently many types of protocol prosthesis to be installed on dental implants. Among them is translucent zirconia, which is the most modern option because it uses a computerized system for its execution, which improves precision, speeds up results and allows for superior aesthetics combined with high resistance.

The dental implant, on the other hand, can be made of titanium, or even ceramic, in Straumann‘s modern version, Pure Ceramic, or even the fast-healing titanium version, Slactive. There is also a national dental implant option, Neodent.

Complete dental implants to improve chewing and self-esteem

We are currently working with materials that are very comparable to natural teeth, both in terms of function and aesthetics. Patients who have lost their teeth for various reasons can have consequences that affect their health and well-being.

The absence of natural teeth (edentulism) hinders the ability to chew food, compromising the intake of essential nutrients for health and quality of life.

In addition, the person with total edentulism has their social life affected because they can’t smile and speak confidently in front of other people. As a result, they tend to become reclusive and have low self-esteem.

Undeniably, treatment with implants improves the patient’s quality of life, raising their self-esteem and allowing them to eat comfortably.

Advantages of a fixed prosthesis over a removable prosthesis

The fact that the prosthesis is fixed on implants makes it more comfortable and safer for the wearer to chew and speak than a mobile prosthesis, which can sometimes become maladjusted and move or even hurt.

Implants can be placed in different ways, as it varies according to the patient’s condition, especially if they have been edentulous for many years.

The most common method is to place six titanium implant pins in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. A temporary prosthesis is also always planned so that the patient doesn’t lose teeth.

After the healing period (which varies according to each case), dental prostheses can be attached to the implants for complete oral rehabilitation.

Titanium implants replace lost tooth roots, while prostheses are similar in shape, color and strength to natural dental crowns.

Learn more about the full-arch implant.

Natural result of implants for all teeth

The complete dental implant is very similar to natural human teeth. As a result, the patient’s smile is once again harmonious and difficult for other people to distinguish as a prosthesis.

Social interaction is restored and the patient has more confidence to smile and speak. When the patient receives a complete dental implant, they are able to chew food that they couldn’t chew before.

This is a way of ensuring a richer, more nutritious diet and that the food reaches the stomach properly prepared for digestion. ImplArt Odontologia specializes in dental implants, in titanium or ceramic, and modern computerized prostheses, Zirconia or Cerec porcelain, in addition to traditional methods.

Types of dental prosthesis materials

First of all, there are different materials used to make dental prostheses. Tooth loss occurs due to various factors, which is why there are also various types of prosthesis that can be indicated for each patient’s needs. Dental prostheses can be made on full-arch dental implants, protocol prostheses or even on individual dental implants. Therefore, as there are many types of prostheses, from fixed prostheses to removable prostheses ( dentures ), we have decided to explain the types of dental prostheses in a very simple way.

The aim is certainly to help you learn more about all the options available and also to help you decide on the best treatment option. See more below.

Learn about the main types of dentures

First of all, teeth are very important for health, aesthetics and well-being. The absence of teeth therefore compromises speech, chewing, social interaction and even general health.

In addition, difficulty chewing can sometimes influence the poor intake of important nutrients.

The great news is that dental prostheses today are very advanced and increasingly resemble natural teeth, not only in appearance but also in function. What’s more, there are many options for prosthetic materials, from conventional teeth to fully computerized ones

Therefore, we will discuss the main types of dentures and dental crowns and the characteristics of each one below.

Classification by type of prosthesis. By size

single dental implant
Single or individual denture – This is a denture in the shape of a single tooth element.
partial implant fixed dental bridge
Partial or multiple prosthesis – This is a bridge-shaped prosthesis that contains three dental elements, the central one suspended over the gums. It is therefore used to replace teeth that have been lost sequentially.
total implant fixed dental prosthesis
Full dentures – These are used to replace all the teeth in a dental arch when the person has no teeth left.

Description by type of prosthesis . Fixation method

By method of attachment, dental prostheses can be cemented or screwed.

bridge over teeth
Cemented crowns on teeth
screwed crown versus cemented crown
Crowns on implants can be of the cemented or screwed type

Description by type of prosthesis . Type of support

mobile dentures - materials for dental prostheses
Gum-supported dentures – Full dentures that are supported on the gums and are held in place by the shape of the denture or with the aid of attachments.
cemented bridge over teeth - prosthetic materials
Supported on teeth – The single or partial denture can be bonded to teeth that can still be maintained, usually with a treated root canal and with part of the remaining structure prepared. In this way, the partial denture can also be attached to the lateral teeth using metal clips, but this technique has some disadvantages, such as exposed metal and a certain amount of discomfort.
fixed dental bridge on dental implants
Implant-supported fixed prosthesis Single, partial or total prostheses can be fixed on dental implants surgically installed in the jawbone or mandible. In the case of complete dentures, the implants are strategically distributed throughout the arch.

Classification by type of dentalprosthesis materials

resin fixed total dental prosthesis on implants
Resin dental prosthesis – Plastic material used to make a single prosthesis, partial or total, on gums or on an implant. The Branemark protocol is a total prosthesis with a metal framework and resin teeth and gums.
metal ceramic total prosthesis
Metal-ceramic prost hesis This is a single, partial or total prosthesis with a metal structure and teeth made of dental porcelain.
zirconia total prosthesis fixed implants, zirconia is one of the best materials
Applied zirconia dental prosthesis – Single, partial or total prosthesis with an internal zirconia structure and teeth made of dental porcelain. Extremely aesthetic and similar to natural teeth.

aesthetic dental
Pure zirconia dental prosthesis – Pure zirconia is also known as cubic zirconia, or translucent zirconia, monolithic zirconia, as well as multilayer zirconia.

On the type of gum characterization and materials

zirconia total prosthesis for aesthetic implants
Artificial gum prosthesis Artificial g um prosthesis is indicated for people who have had a lot of vertical bone loss, cases in which the gums have been reshaped and therefore the arch has lost its shape, or who have lost their gums for other reasons. In this case, the artificial gum mimics the shape and color of the natural gum so that the prosthesis looks more natural and the teeth don’t get too long.
full dentures without artificial gums
Without artificial gums (teeth only) – Dentures without artificial gums are indicated for people who maintain the volume and arch of their natural gums (for example, someone who has a tooth extracted and then has a dental implant placed). It is certainly not possible to make a gumless prosthesis in all cases, so please consult us.

Type of impressions and prosthesis planning

computerized dental prosthesis design for modern materials
Computerized impression taking – Technological advances allow us to take digital impressions with intraoral scanners and processes that are part computerized and part manual. This undeniably allows us to make faster, more personalized, more aesthetic prostheses with excellent adaptation.
aesthetic dental
Conventional molding – made with putty and the prosthesis manufactured using completely manual processes. The result can be excellent, but the work can take longer.

Aesthetic oral rehabilitation – Specialist Clinic

Aesthetic oral rehabilitation is a treatment or set of dental procedures aimed at restoring the oral function and aesthetics of a person who is suffering from missing teeth and needs implants, or whose oral function is compromised by other dental problems that affect chewing, speech and the aesthetics of the smile.

Accordingly, depending on the case, single or partial dental implants can be carried out, or so-called total implants with a protocol prosthesis, which are implants for the entire arch. Porcelain crowns or zirconia crowns can be made, designed with modern computerized systems that allow patients to regain their confidence to smile, as well as their chewing function. It is important to note that dental implant surgery is simple, and allows for major transformations in the patient’s life.

Aesthetic oral rehabilitation: which procedures?

In addition, oral rehabilitation also aims to prevent other problems from arising in the future. A complete, better and well-articulated set of teeth will certainly prevent problems with the jaw, mandible and temporomandibular joints.

ImplArt specializes in prosthetics and restoring dental aesthetics

The ImplArt Dental Clinic has a team made up of the main areas of dentistry:

  • Endodontist – root canal treatment.
  • Periodontist – treatment of diseases affecting the teeth, roots, gums and supporting bones, such as cavities, gingivitis, plaque, periodontitis.
  • Restorative dentistry – aesthetic treatments such as whitening, application of dental contact lenses and aesthetic planning.
  • Oral and maxillofacial – specialist in the surgical correction of facial anomalies, such as asymmetries, TMJ dysfunctions and bone grafting.
  • Prosthodontist – Dental surgeon specialized in making aesthetic and conventional dental prostheses.
  • Prosthetist – laboratory technician specialized in making dental prostheses.
  • Radiologist – specializes in radiological examinations that help with diagnosis and treatment planning.

All these areas can work in isolation or better together to achieve complete oral rehabilitation. ImplArt’s team of professionals is supported by a number of facilities and the best technologies, all at the same address:

In-house dental laboratory

With a specialized team and equipment that helps make modern dental prostheses quickly and precisely, much more like real teeth, such as the modern translucent zirconia prosthesis. ImplArt’s prosthetics laboratory has two of the most modern dental 3D printers on the market: the Cerec Sirona System and the Ceramill Motion 2.

They do everything from computerized three-dimensional design to milling teeth in ceramic material. Find out more by clicking here.

Digital radiology laboratory

With a digital panoramic X-ray machine and computerized tomography.

Computerized treatment and surgery planning

Exclusive software that plans and simulates various dental treatments. This way, patients know how their treatment will go before they even start it.

Day Clinic

The Day clinic is a type of service that carries out one or more dental treatments intensively. In this way, oral rehabilitation can be achieved in the shortest possible time (subject to assessment of the complexity of each case).

One of the main features of aesthetic oral rehabilitation is the porcelain dental crown

This is a dental reconstruction that aims to cover or encase a tooth that has had its structure compromised, or even after root canal treatment. Teeth with a root canal almost always need a reinforcing post to give the dental crown a better structure. The dental crown can be made from a number of porcelain options currently available.

In some cases, dental crowns can be better made in one day with the CEREC 3D dental prosthesis and crown in our clinic thanks to the technologies in our laboratories. Dental posts (cores) can be metal or aesthetic (zirconia or fiberglass).

Dental prosthesis price in Brazil

We often receive messages from people wanting to know the price of dentures in Brazil, especially fixed dentures on dental implants. We would like to answer this question quickly, but we try to explain that these questions can only be answered in person after a dental consultation.

Let’s go. It’s important to note that dental prosthesis prices can vary depending on the type of prosthesis, the complexity of the case and the materials used. In addition, the placement of a fixed prosthesis on dental implants also requires a careful assessment of the patient. It is therefore necessary to make an appointment for a dental consultation so that a professional can analyze your specific case and provide an accurate quote. Remember that oral health is fundamental and investing in a suitable prosthesis can benefit your quality of life.

Dental prosthesis prices in Brazil

Price and value of dentures

Firstly, it is necessary to have a consultation with the dentist, either in the office or via TeleOdontology. Secondly, dental treatment can only be indicated after a careful assessment of the patient.

There are many variables that influence the planning of a treatment. In the same way, there are several options for materials and techniques that impact on the composition of a budget. What’s more, a treatment that may be suitable for one person may not be the most appropriate for another.

Thirdly, it is primarily important that the person is assessed by a specialist dentist. Often the patient thinks they have a dental problem and believes that a particular treatment may be the solution, but in the professional view the most appropriate treatment may be something else.

The dental surgeon is qualified and trained to look at oral health in general. They also provide guidance and recommend the necessary procedures to keep teeth beautiful and healthy throughout life.

We at ImplArt believe that dental treatment goes far beyond a simple monetary value

There are important factors that influence a cost-benefit ratio, such as the health and well-being that healthy teeth provide. In addition, there are other immeasurable aspects: the improvement in self-esteem, the patient’s comfort from the beginning to the end of treatment, the relationship of trust between patient and dentist, the professional’s empathy with the patient’s feelings…

Patients often bring with them anxieties, expectations, fear of the dentist, as well as trauma from previous negative experiences. So how much do you think a smile is worth?

zirconia fixed total prosthesis for implants made at ImplArt

Common questions about Prosthodontics price:

Is there a charge for the first consultation?

Yes, there is a charge for the first consultation. The patient will be assessed by the clinic’s director, Dr. Roberto Markarian, who has extensive experience in treatments for functional and aesthetic oral rehabilitation, with dental implants as well as dental prostheses.

If necessary, the patient will have to undergo some radiological examinations to help with the diagnosis and treatment planning. For your convenience, some of the main radiological examinations can be carried out within the clinic (at a separate cost).

If you already have previous exams, bring all the recent ones (up to 1 year old) to your appointment, as they will be of great help.

My dentist doesn’t charge, why do you?

We follow the rules of the CRO, the Regional Council of Dentistry, which specifies that dental services cannot be free, in the same way as medical consultations. The culture in dentistry is changing and the number of dentists who charge for consultations is growing.

The dental surgeon who will be attending you has studied at university and takes frequent postgraduate courses. Their time is valuable, just as it is in other health professions.

Does ImplArt cover any dental plans?

At the moment we don’t accept dental insurance or any type of plan. Most dental plans don’t offer cover for dental prostheses, implants or aesthetic procedures, which are precisely the focus of our clinic. However, we do accept plans for the reimbursement system or free choice.

There are companies that offer their employees this system, in which they later receive the amounts paid. There is some bureaucracy involved, but we can help. If you have any questions, please contact us through one of the channels below or make an appointment!

Laser teeth whitening – Day Clinic

Laser teeth whitening is a treatment often used in our Dayclinic cases because it greatly improves the appearance of the teeth and is quick to perform. Teeth whitening can be used in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments such as cosmetic dental lenses. It can also be used in rehabilitative treatments with dental crowns and even dental implants, where fixed dental prostheses will be required, and the tone of the smile can be modified as a whole at this point.

Laser teeth whitening is one of the aesthetic procedures that ImplArt Odontologia can perform in its Day Clinic

Over time, some of our habits can leave our teeth yellowed or stained. Ingesting highly pigmented foods or drinks, such as coffee, wine, beet, açaí, among others, can stain teeth.

Smoking is also one of the enemies of white teeth, as nicotine also stains teeth. In addition, poor brushing – which would be a better way of removing food pigments from the teeth – can also lead to the accumulation of plaque on the teeth, which makes them look yellow.

A beautiful, uniform smile makes up dental aesthetics, while yellowed and stained teeth can affect a person’s self-esteem.

A naturally whiter smile, like the ones seen on celebrities, is a common desire. The best part is that this dream is possible, thanks to the laser teeth whitening procedure, which is certainly a great ally for dental aesthetics.

How does laser teeth whitening work?

ImplArt Odontologia uses the most modern laser whitening techniques safely and efficiently. The best whitening is done with the combination of hydrogen peroxide-based gel and the laser light that activates the gel.

The procedure safely and effectively removes pigments and stains from tooth enamel and dentin. Some people need more than one session and this will be determined after an assessment of each case.

Indications for whitening

Laser teeth whitening treatment is suitable for most people who are bothered by yellow or stained teeth.

There are even techniques for children over the age of 10. The indication is made after a thorough assessment of the general condition of the patient’s mouth (teeth, gums, tongue and mucous membranes) by the ImplArt professional.

Advantages of laser whitening?

  • Faster results than home whitening
  • Causes no or little tooth sensitivity

Day Clinic ImplArt

ImplArt Odontologia performs laser teeth whitening with the agility and convenience of a Day Clinic.

This type of service is ideal for people who want to have a more beautiful smile, whether for an upcoming event, such as a wedding, or even to give their look a boost, but who don’t have the time because of too many commitments in their daily lives, or for those who are in São Paulo for a short trip.

ImplArt’s high-tech structure and specialized team allow your treatment to be planned according to your needs and available time.

Whether this treatment can be carried out in a Day Clinic depends on an assessment of each case.

Gum grafting to improve the aesthetics of teeth

What is gum grafting?

Gum grafting is used to try and reconstruct an area of the mouth that has suffered from receding or lost gum tissue. Gum recession can occur due, for example, to brushing too hard, gum disease, bruxism or prolonged use of braces. To reduce the effect of the problem, gum grafting is usually indicated.

This is a surgical procedure that consists of removing a piece of mucosa from the patient’s own palate (roof of the mouth) and then placing it over the defect. The material is removed under local anesthesia and the person feels no pain, only slight discomfort.

Update: It is now possible to perform gum grafting without removing gum from the roof of the mouth, using a synthetic material for this purpose.

When healthy, the gums form a protective collar around the tooth. There are two types of gum: the inserted gum, which is a pink, thicker tissue that surrounds the tooth and is adhered to by the bone tissue, and the mucosa (non-inserted gum), a thin, soft and highly mobile tissue that forms the inside of the cheeks and lips. When the gums are unhealthy, we first need to restore their health by removing the bacteria with a periodontal scraping.

Gum defect needs grafting

A gingival defect (receding gums) usually occurs as a result of gum inflammation, caused by a tooth fracture for example. It happens when the gum tissue retracts, almost always due to excessive force when brushing the teeth. The retraction of the gum tissue leaves the tooth root exposed, causing tooth sensitivity and compromising the aesthetics of the teeth. In the case of dental implants, receding gums can expose the base of the implants.

There can also be gum loss due to trauma, accidents or periodontal disease. In these cases, the gums lose their original shape and the aesthetics of the smile can be compromised, especially in the area of the front teeth. In some cases, the placement of dental implants leaves the gums with an inappropriate shape, and this defect can also be corrected with the gum grafting technique.

It is important to note that the gingival grafting procedure does not guarantee success. Even if the procedure is carried out perfectly in terms of technique, there may be tissue necrosis and a consequent loss of the grafted tissue.

gum grafting

After gum surgery

To prevent pain, the patient uses medication (anti-inflammatories) before and after surgery. The dentist can also use “surgical cement”, a protective barrier that is fixed in place where the operation took place. It sticks to the teeth and gums for around five days.

The donor area is not left unprotected after the procedure, as it is sutured (stitched) and this protection helps to maintain its aesthetics and shape, even after a small piece has been removed. Among the main precautions after gum surgery, diet is the most important. The patient should follow the post-surgical recommendations, which are the same as for implant surgery, eating soft, cold food for the first few days to avoid bleeding, infections, and to help with analgesia and healing.

Acidic foods should also be avoided so as not to irritate or sting the gums. As an alternative to gum grafts, prostheses can be made to disguise the aesthetic problem, either with more favorable tooth shapes or with prostheses containing artificial gum. Each case is assessed individually.

If you have any questions about gum grafting, treatments or treatment prices, please contact our team. We at ImplArt Dental Clinic are happy to help you.

Aesthetic and fast orthodontic braces

Self-ligating aesthetic orthodontic braces

A modern resource for aesthetic and fast orthodontic treatment

Aesthetic braces and self-ligating braces: what are the advantages over conventional orthodontic appliances?

Braces that don’t use rubbers

In conventional braces, the metal wire (orthodontic archwire) is attached to the brackets by small rubber bands. In self-ligating orthodontic braces, the wire is passed through a channel in each bracket and attached by small caps, thus eliminating the need for rubber bands.

Self-ligating braces are more aesthetic

The absence of rubber bands in self-ligating aesthetic braces is certainly what makes this model more discreet compared to conventional orthodontic appliances. In addition, the brackets can be made of translucent material on the front of the appliance. The pieces are also smaller than in other types of braces, making them more discreet.

More hygienic

The advantage of this method is that the absence of rubber bands makes oral hygiene easier and the patient doesn’t run the risk of losing some of them during treatment, which would loosen part of the wire. Absent rubber bands also help prevent the accumulation of food residue as well as plaque and cavities.

Faster treatment with self-connected devices

There are studies that prove that orthodontic treatment with self-ligating braces can be faster (up to 7 months faster than conventional braces). This advantage is mainly due to the lower friction between brackets and wire in this model, which makes tooth movement faster.

As a result, visits to the dentist’s office become less frequent, as there is no need for a lot of maintenance to change the rubber bands (rubber bands lose their elastic properties and strength over time, so they need to be constantly changed).

The auto-on device is more comfortable

For the patient, the greater freedom in moving teeth with self-ligating braces means more comfort and fewer episodes of pain during treatment, as self-ligating braces exert a lighter and more gradual force than conventional braces. Self-ligating braces also require fewer tooth extractions to be installed.

Indications of auto-on devices

Self-ligating aesthetic orthodontic braces, like conventional braces, can be used for a variety of orthodontic problems. However, it has a slight advantage in treatments that require arch expansion (smile opening). Self-ligating orthodontic braces can be used, for example, for:

  • Misaligned teeth
  • Missing teeth
  • Teeth growing in the wrong place (roof of the mouth, next to the tongue, rotated as well as crowded)
  • Open bite
  • Crossbite (the top teeth fit inside the bottom teeth when you close your mouth)
  • Swallowing difficulties
  • Bone changes (chin too far forward or back)
  • Mouth breathing
  • Retained milk tooth (the child’s tooth doesn’t fall out and the permanent tooth isn’t born)

Self-ligating braces: are there any disadvantages?

There are no major disadvantages to treatment with self-ligating braces. The price is still higher compared to conventional braces, but there are certainly many advantages added to the value of the treatment, especially for adults.

Transparent aligner

Almost imperceptible device

ImplArt clear aligners are a new option for orthodontic treatment. The main advantage of this method is that clear aligners are very discreet and hardly anyone will notice that you’re wearing them. Just to illustrate, unlike conventional fixed orthodontic appliances, ImplArt clear aligners are plate-shaped and do not have brackets, metal wires or colored rubber bands.

The way they work is similar, but there are other differences, as you’ll see below. It consists of the sequential use of different plates, with minor adjustments to each one. The patient wears each aligner for about 2 weeks and the teeth move progressively until they reach the ideal position.

The aligner plates are custom-made for each patient, based on a digital mold taken from the teeth and a detailed plan made by our specialist team using an intraoral scanner.

In this computerized planning, tooth movement can be simulated in advance with three-dimensional images and the patient can follow the progress. Other advantages of ImplArt transparent aligners:

  • They can be removed by the patient for regular oral hygiene and eating;
  • They don’t interfere with speech;
  • Prevents irritation to gums and mucous membranes;
  • They require fewer office visits for strength adjustments;
  • More aesthetic than conventional braces.

Indications for transparent braces

Problems such as tooth misalignment, crowding, gaps between teeth (diastema), dental malocclusion, crossbite and overbite can be solved with orthodontic treatment.

Aligning plates can be designed to move some or all of the teeth, depending on the needs of each case. Many orthodontic problems, if not treated correctly, can damage your health and well-being throughout your life.

The most common problems are: pain in the muscles and bones of the face, pain and clicking in the temporomandibular joint, facial asymmetry, the appearance of periodontal disease, plaque build-up, tartar, gingivitis, tooth decay, snoring, sleep apnea, speech and chewing problems, among others.
