What are digital pure porcelain crowns made of?
Lithium disilicate ceramics have aesthetic and resistance properties comparable to natural teeth. Pure porcelain crown for natural teeth
It is common for a temporary crown to be made before finalizing the permanent tooth to test whether the computer modeling is correct. Immediately after milling, the piece undergoes a crystallization process at approximately 850°C for 20 to 30 minutes and acquires high resistance, shade and translucency.
When the crown is finished, it is attached to the previously installed dental implant. For your convenience, the Cerec System and e.max ceramics are available at ImplArt Dental Clinic in Brazil. In conventional braces, there is friction between the elastics and the metal archwire, which creates resistance and makes movement slightly slower. The absence of elastics in self-ligating braces allows the archwire to run more smoothly inside the bracket channels, making tooth movement faster and more comfortable for the patient.

It can be made up of all-metal, aesthetic-metal or all-aesthetic parts (aesthetic fixed braces with brackets made from sapphire, porcelain or transparent or tooth-coloured polycarbonate).
Indication: various problems that cause dental malocclusion, from the simplest to those that require major movement, the most common being diastemas, misalignment of teeth, crowding, overbite, open bite, crossbite, among others.
Conventional braces to correct teeth
Conventional orthodontic braces are made up of wires, brackets and elastics. They can be metal or aesthetic (polycarbonate, porcelain or sapphire), while the elastics can be colored or transparent. Fixed orthodontic braces work by first bonding the brackets to the teeth. Next, an archwire is placed on each bracket and secured by elastic bands.
During treatment, a certain amount of force is gradually applied to each tooth in order to align and position them properly. The patient needs to visit the clinic regularly (determined by the orthodontist) to make the force adjustments and eventually change the rubber bands that have lost their elastic capacity over time.
Discomfort and a feeling of tightness may be felt in the first few days after these activations, but this is considered normal.
Conventional and aesthetic braces
This model of braces requires the patient to take special care with oral hygiene to avoid food debris and plaque forming around the elastics and brackets.
Indication: various problems that cause dental malocclusion, from the simplest to those that require major movement. The most common problems are diastemas, misalignment of teeth, crowding, overbite, open bite, crossbite, among others.

Completely free of metal parts and made from a biocompatible thermoplastic composition, transparent aligner plates are considered the most aesthetic option among orthodontic appliances.
Because they are transparent and have the same shape as the teeth, the aligner plates are almost imperceptible. This modern technique consists of the sequential use of aligner plates with small adjustments to each one (called attachments).
The plates are manufactured according to a computerized plan based on a mold of the patient’s arches. Each movement is planned and the patient is given an estimate of the duration of their treatment and the expected results. The patient receives the set of plates to be changed every 15 days (or at the dentist’s discretion).
It is a type of mobile orthodontic appliance or removable orthodontic appliance, meaning that the patient can take it out to eat and clean their mouth. However, it is extremely important that the patient does not stop wearing them for the prescribed time.
Indication: This technique is especially suitable for simpler orthodontic corrections. It is an option for adult patients who need orthodontic treatment but do not want visual impairment.
